My examples of Fine Art: Nature Photography
For this assignment, I was supposed to post 5 photos of my FAPOS images. FAPOS is an acronym used by my professor for my Professional Imaging course, Caryn Esplin, which stands for Fine Art Photo Op Stops. Fine art photography is “capturing a scene that is worthy of framing large to hang on the wall of someone’s home or business.”
On this field trip that we all took to Victor, Idaho near the world famous Tetons, we would stop every so often if there was a picturesque opportunity. This was different for me because I am so used to traveling where you just try to get there as quickly as possible, so it was nice to stop and smell the roses for a little bit. These were mostly landscape shots taken in Grand Teton National Park. I thought they were good examples of fine art nature photography. Here are a couple of my favorites:
One thing that I wished I could’ve got more pictures of was the wildlife. We didn’t really see that much which is why I don’t have pictures of the wildlife. Here‘s an example of fine art nature photography involving wildlife.
Hey Carrisa I like your shots. We have some similar locations but it’s cool to see how we both got completely different shots. I really like the plants with that bokeh mountain background. Looks beautiful!
Check out Naomi’s post from this week, she got some great ones too!

Carrisa! Your shots look amazing! My favorite is probably the one with the line of different lengths of plants across the photo with the back ground of the mountains. Great job!
